We are at peak marathon season ladies and gentlemen! With the Chicago Marathon on the books earlier this month, NYC Marathon just a few weeks away, and Philly just a few weeks after that, we are all in recovery/tapering/core training limbo. But did you know that there's more than just marathons happening in the fall in NYC?! We've put together the best of fall marathon season, including events where you don't have to run 26.2 to have fun.

In our opinion, this is coolest race ever that runs through all five boroughs. Between the bridges, the amazing crowds, and running up 5th Av into New York's Central Park at the end, this will be a marathon to remember. PLUS tons of Rio marathon Olypmians are racing this year! Did we say pizza crawl?! Yes. What better way to recover after NYC Marathon, or start carbo-loading for the Philly marathon? This month's crawl starts and ends in Brooklyn and features 3 of the best white pizza hubs, all in a 5k run from our friends at The 'Za Report. Calorie neutral (kind of) and tons of fun. With an 8k race Friday, Half Marathon Saturday, and full Marathon Sunday, the city of brotherly love has something for everyone. Feeling some serious #FOMO from watching all your friends run fall marathons? There's still time for some crash-training and a few 20-milers. Or just do the half via our half marathon training plan.
